About the Club

Oregon Surf Soccer Club operates in Oregon and Southwest Washington, with a primary presence in the Portland Metro area. The club was originally established in 1988 as Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club, later rebranding to Northwest Elite Futbol Club before becoming Oregon Surf in 2024 as an affiliate of the nationwide Surf Nation, founded in 1977. Oregon Surf is recognized as one of the longest-standing youth sports programs in the Northwest. A key distinguishing feature is its comprehensive programming, offering a continuous development pathway for players at all levels, from early years through pre-professional ranks. The club adheres to a "Players First" philosophy, emphasizing individual player development and character building. Oregon Surf provides competitive opportunities through top leagues, including ECNL and ECNL-RL, alongside OYSA league play for younger age groups. The club also offers the Surf Player Pathway, a proven development track that provides additional growth opportunities, including participation in Surf Select national and international teams. Oregon Surf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
