About the Club

Saints Soccer Academy is a developmental and competitive youth soccer club based in Portland, Oregon, serving the Portland Metropolitan area, including Vancouver, Gresham, and Clackamas. Established in May 2016 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the club focuses on providing affordable soccer opportunities. The academy offers programs for boys and girls ranging from age four through high school (U4-U19), alongside an Adult Academy and a UPSL Men's team. A key distinguishing feature is its commitment to affordability, with fees approximately half the cost of other competitive clubs, and a scholarship program supporting 35-40% of its families. The club emphasizes a community-based, all-encompassing atmosphere and year-round player development. Saints Soccer Academy also provides community outreach through its TOPSoccer program for children with special needs. Their elite teams compete in prominent leagues such as MLS NEXT, the E64 National League, US Youth Soccer NW Conference, and the US Youth Soccer National Pro League. The club's coaching philosophy, influenced by the Positive Coaching Alliance, integrates high-level technical soccer skills with important life skills. This approach aims to develop high-quality players and foster positive growth within the community.
