About the Club

FC Portland Soccer Academy is a youth soccer organization based in the Portland metropolitan area, specifically Hillsboro, Oregon. The club was established in 1987 by Clive Charles, whose foundational philosophy of developing young people for life through soccer continues to guide the academy. FC Portland aims to cultivate an environment of professional coaching and leadership, focusing on long-term player development to achieve competitive success. The academy serves a wide range of age groups, offering programs for boys and girls from U7 through U19. Their comprehensive program structure includes Junior Academy, Foundation Academy, Development Academy, Senior Academy, and a Goalkeeper Academy. FC Portland's top competitive programs include Boys ECNL and ECNL RL for U13-U19 age groups. The club also competes in the National League NWC, with teams achieving success in various competitions. FC Portland is committed to preparing and developing players for the challenges of life through the game of soccer.
