About the Club

Central Illinois United (CIU) is a youth soccer organization operating in the Central Illinois area. The club aims to be the premier soccer club in the region, providing opportunities for players to compete at high levels without extensive travel. CIU focuses on comprehensive player development, encompassing technical skills, tactical awareness, physical abilities, and psychological growth within an enjoyable and rewarding environment. The program is open to all Central Illinois players and has player representation across more than nine local clubs. CIU is dedicated to developing not only elite soccer players but also outstanding teammates, leaders, students, and citizens. The club offers a college advisory program, preparing players for collegiate-level competition. CIU teams compete at the top of the FCCI, SASA, and PFCU player development pyramid. The club strives to be the first choice for competitive soccer for both top players and coaches within its diverse community.

Club Programs

Commitment: Full Year

Club Fee: Fee schedule not publicly available. Player fees are reviewed annually and set to cover costs including league fees, tournament fees, field rental and maintenance, administrative expenses, and coaching. These costs are partially offset by fundraising, donations, and sponsorships.

Scholarship Program

Commitment: Full Year

Club Fee: Program Partially Funded. Scholarships are extended to families with demonstrated financial need. Scholarship awards generally do not cover fees for additional tournaments, travel expenses, uniform and equipment costs, or other team/club related expenses.
