About the Club
Chicago City Soccer Club (CITY) is a leading youth soccer organization operating across nine main locations in the Chicagoland area, including Downtown Chicago, the Loop, Pilsen, Bridgeview, Elgin, Tri Cities, Glenview, Kankakee, and New Lennox. Established in 2013, CITY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving over 1,200 players. The club provides youth and pre-professional programming, offering a full player pathway for both girls and boys of all levels. Chicago City SC is recognized for its holistic CITY CARE model, which emphasizes Communities, Athletes, Relationships, and Ethos. This development philosophy is supported by ongoing coach education and focuses on health and wellness, sports psychology, and sustainable performance to drive meaningful player growth. Through a strategic partnership with Lil Kickers, CITY provides a seamless transition for families, moving players from early childhood programs into Rec CITY and eventually into competitive club soccer. The club participates in top competitive leagues and platforms, including ECNL, EA, DPL, NPL, USLY, IWSL, and YSSL. Additionally, the organization fields senior teams in the Midwest Premier League (MWPL) for men and the Womens Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for women, providing a clear progression for its athletes. CITY also works with partner clubs to provide pathways for top talent while supporting teams in various other leagues. On an international stage, CITY hosts a tournament over Easter weekend welcoming teams from Ireland and competes in prestigious European academy events, including the Super Cup Northern Ireland and the Galway Cup. Locally, the CITY in the Community (CITC) program provides ongoing community support through schools and park districts. An Illinois 5 Star Club since 2015 and recognized as Best of Chicago 2023 by the Chicago Reader, the club was most recently honored with the Illinois Premier Club Award in 2025.
