About the Club
FC1 Academy is a competitive youth soccer club based in the Glenview/Northbrook area of Illinois, serving the North Suburban Chicago region. Established in 2012, the club provides a year-round development program for both boys and girls from U7 to U19 age groups. The club's philosophy centers on developing individual technical skills, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship within a competitive and constructive environment. FC1 Academy emphasizes a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn from its players. Their teams compete in several leagues, providing a platform for players to face similarly skilled opponents. The boys' teams participate in the Young Sportsman Soccer League (YSSL), the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) Premiership Division, and the Midwest Conference (MWC). The girls' teams compete in the Illinois Women's Soccer League (IWSL), as well as the IYSA Premiership Division and the Midwest Conference (MWC). In addition to fall and spring seasons, the club offers indoor training and league play during the winter months.
