Augusta United Soccer Club
About the Club
Augusta United Soccer Club operates in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia, serving the communities of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro. The club's origins trace back to 2007 when three local soccer clubs—Blue Ridge Soccer Association, the Staunton Steam, and Woodrow Wilson Soccer Club—merged to create a county-wide program. Augusta United is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides soccer programs for all ages and abilities, from the U6 \"Hot Shots\" introductory program to U19 travel teams. The club's motto, \"Three As One,\" reflects its mission to unite the three main localities into a single soccer community. Augusta United offers several levels of play, including recreational leagues, a more competitive Challenge Program for U10-U12 players, and the highest level, the Premier Travel program for players from U11 to U19. A key feature of the club is its affiliation with sister clubs SOCA (Soccer Organization of the Charlottesville Area) and Skyline Elite SC. This partnership provides a pathway for the most ambitious players to advance to the highest levels of youth competition through a regional network. Through this structure, the club is dedicated to developing players for pure enjoyment or the pursuit of excellence.
