The club was established in 2020 and operates as an official Academy Affiliate of Sporting Kansas City. This affiliation provides a direct professional pathway to Major League Soccer (MLS) for its players. Sporting Oklahoma offers recreational and competitive programs for boys and girls ranging from Pre-K through high school, specifically U4-U19 across various program tiers. The club emphasizes player development, coaching education, and fostering a positive, safe, and professional environment to encourage a lifelong interest in soccer. Sporting Oklahoma's unique "Sporting Way" culture is built on S.P.O.R.T.I.N.G. Core Values and five pillars: Attitude & Effort, Enjoyment, Player Development, Collaboration, and Accountability. They offer a College Placement Program for U13-U19 players aiming for collegiate soccer.
