Steel City FC is a prominent youth soccer organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, operating across multiple sites including North Huntingdon, Harmar, and Butler/Rochester. The club's youth development roots trace back to the 1980s through its predecessor, Pittsburgh Hotspurs, with the unified entity rebranding as Steel City FC in 2023. It stands out as the first club in Pittsburgh to offer a complete pathway from youth to adult soccer for both men and women. Steel City FC employs a "Phase Model" development approach, providing age-specific curricula focused on technical mastery and tactical decision-making, fostering an expressive, attacking style of play.
