About the Club
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy is a youth soccer organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The academy was launched in 2007, building upon the professional club's founding in 1998. It develops approximately 1,300 players aged 3 to 18, offering a skill-driven development system focused on individual player improvement. The curriculum was initially designed in association with Everton F.C. of the English Premier League, emphasizing hard work and resilience. The academy provides a clear pathway for players to advance to the professional team, with notable alumni progressing to collegiate, professional, and US Youth National Team levels. Their top competitive programs include the Riverhounds Development Academy (RDA) and participation in the ECNL league. The club utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and offers year-round training programs open to all players.
