Orange Soccer Association
About the Club
Orange Soccer Association (OSA) is a youth soccer organization operating in Orange County, Virginia. The club provides recreational and travel soccer programs designed to foster skill development and a love for the game among young players. OSA's recreational program emphasizes fundamentals in a safe, enjoyable environment for participants at all skill levels. Teams participate in weekly training sessions and at least eight weekend games per fall and spring season. The club fields teams across various parts of Orange County, with most home games held at Booster Park. OSA serves boys and girls from ages 4 to 14 in its recreational divisions, with specific age group formats that adjust field sizes and game rules accordingly. A standout feature is the Orange Fire travel program, which prioritizes player development to create skilled, competitive athletes through dedicated training and tryouts. This travel initiative offers opportunities for higher-level competition beyond local recreational play. OSA also supports community involvement by training volunteer referees to ensure smooth operations. The club's house rules enforce safety standards, such as mandatory shin guards and approved footwear, to protect young players during activities.
