About the Club
RSL AZ is a prominent youth soccer organization operating across Arizona, with a significant presence in the Phoenix metropolitan area and Southern Arizona, including Tucson. The club was re-established on January 11, 2018, through a merger of the long-standing Sereno Soccer Club and Legacy Soccer Club, forming one of the largest and deepest clubs in the state. RSL AZ offers comprehensive programs for boys and girls ranging from U4 through U19, encompassing recreational, academy, and competitive levels. The club's philosophy centers on player development, aiming to cultivate "Complete Players" through a "Total Soccer" concept, preparing individuals for high school, collegiate, and professional competition. A key distinguishing feature of RSL AZ is its direct pathway to professional soccer, including connections to the MLS (Real Salt Lake) and NWSL (Utah Royals FC) academies. RSL AZ teams compete in top-tier competitive leagues and programs, such as MLS Next for boys, ECNL for both boys and girls, the Development Player League (DPL) for girls, and the National Premier League (NPL). The club also participates in the USYS National League and the USYS Desert Conference, competing against elite academies across the Southwest region. RSL AZ provides a College Advisory Program to assist players in their collegiate soccer aspirations. The organization is committed to community engagement, offering programs like Top Soccer for children with disabilities.
