About the Club

LAFC So Cal Youth is a prominent youth soccer organization operating across Southern California, with a strong presence in the San Fernando Valley and West Valley areas, including Santa Clarita Valley. The club was formed on March 1, 2021, through a strategic partnership between the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Real So Cal Soccer Club. This collaboration extends LAFC's player development expertise to over 4,000 youth soccer players. LAFC So Cal Youth offers competitive programs for boys and girls aged 6-19 (U7-U19), organized by birth year, alongside a recreational league. A key distinguishing feature is its direct affiliation with MLS club LAFC, providing a clear pathway for elite players to the LAFC Academy. The club is also part of the MLS Youth Affiliate Network in partnership with adidas. Competitive teams participate in top-tier leagues including the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), ECNL Regional League, and SOCAL, which also oversees the National Premier League (NPL) and State Cup competitions. The club boasts a history of developing players who advance to collegiate and professional levels, inheriting the legacy of Real So Cal, which secured six United States National Championships. All competitive teams receive professional coaching.
