About the Club
East Bay United Soccer Club (EBUSC) is a youth soccer organization based in Oakland, California, serving the broader East Bay area, including Alameda and Berkeley. The club's legacy dates back to 1980 with the founding of Bay Oaks Soccer Club, which later merged with Rockridge Soccer Club in 2011 to form EBUSC. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, EBUSC promotes soccer as a healthy and enjoyable activity for children and young adults, regardless of background. The club serves players across various age groups, from Under 6 through Under 19, offering both recreational and competitive programs. EBUSC emphasizes personal character development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect, fostering a culture where fun and learning take priority. A distinguishing feature is its Coaches in Training (CIT) program for players U14 and older, which develops leadership skills and offers NSCAA Level II certification. East Bay United - Bay Oaks has been selected as a founding member of the top division of the NorCal ECNL Regional League for the 2025-26 season, which serves as a pathway for clubs seeking promotion into the full ECNL.
