Sumter Soccer Club is a youth soccer organization based in Sumter, South Carolina, serving players in Sumter and surrounding areas. Established in 2005, the club operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing youth soccer through competitive teams. It focuses on promoting character, teamwork, and skill development for players up to 19 years old. For players 12 and older, the Sumter Soccer Club provides an Academy Program, a travel league that competes against teams across South Carolina in locations such as Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. The club aims to develop its program to compete with elite programs in the state, some of which participate in leagues like ECNL. Sumter Soccer Club also plays a vital role in community building, particularly for military families, by fostering connections through sports.
