About the Club

Soccer Shots Columbia is a youth soccer organization operating in Columbia, South Carolina, as part of a national program with over 300 territories across 43 states and 2 Canadian provinces. The organization was established in 1997 by founding partners Jeremy Sorzano and Jason Webb, who identified a need for quality soccer programs for children under eight years old. Soccer Shots distinguishes itself as the most trusted and engaging children's soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years, focusing on age-appropriate soccer skills, character development, and fun. Its unique selling points include best-in-class, fully-trained coaches and an expert-approved curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards. The program utilizes a "Soccer Island" environment to ensure a safe and positive experience for participants. Soccer Shots offers three core programs: Mini (18 months-3 years), Classic (3-5 years), and Premier (5-8 years), which introduce fundamental skills and progressively incorporate competitive play in a developmentally appropriate manner. The club does not offer programs in elite competitive leagues such as MLS Next, ECNL, NPL, USYS NL, GA, or DPL, as its focus is on foundational soccer skills and character building for young children.
