About the Club
South Carolina United FC (SCUFC) is a premier youth soccer organization based in Columbia, South Carolina, serving the Midlands region. The club was established in 2011, initially as Palmetto FC Bantams, and has since grown to become a leading force in youth soccer development. SCUFC is dedicated to fostering player development through quality coaching, competitive teams, and a positive environment for youth soccer players ranging from recreational to advanced levels. The club distinguishes itself by offering first-class facilities and programming, catering to players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to aspiring professionals. South Carolina United FC fields teams in highly competitive leagues, including the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for both boys and girls, with teams competing in ECNL National and Regional showcases and playoffs. Additionally, the club offers a Junior Academy for 8U-12U players and competitive teams for U13-U19 age groups, ensuring a comprehensive pathway for player progression. The club also has a men's team that competes in USL League Two.
