About the Club

Maryland Rush is a youth soccer organization based in Maryland, operating primarily in Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's Counties. Established as the founding branch of a national network, it has been active since integrating with Rush Soccer in the early 2010s, with expansions including Annapolis in 2013 and Southern Maryland in 2019. The club serves boys and girls across youth age groups, including U10 through U18, with programs tailored for competitive development. Maryland Rush distinguishes itself through its affiliation with the global Rush Soccer organization, which unites over 40 clubs and 40,000 players worldwide for shared training methodologies and player pathways. It emphasizes the Rush Way, focusing on character development, competition, and enjoyment to foster lifelong soccer participation. Unique features include the Rush Select program, which assembles top players from domestic and international clubs for elite tournaments, showcases, and overseas tours. The club also runs the REACH initiative, donating soccer gear to disadvantaged youth in developing countries to promote health, education, and community building. Maryland Rush teams compete in premier youth leagues such as the USYS National League, Elite Development Program (EDP), and USL Youth, providing pathways for players to advance toward higher competitive levels. Through these programs, the club supports player progression from local travel teams to national and regional competitions, preparing athletes for collegiate and professional opportunities.
