About the Club

Founded in 1986, the Boston Bolts Soccer Club is the oldest soccer club in Massachusetts. The club is based in Newton, Massachusetts, and its men's team competes in USL League Two. The Bolts are dedicated to developing youth soccer players for collegiate, national, or professional levels, providing exceptional training and development opportunities. They have a professional coaching staff and their players come from across eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The club has a history of national recognition, with both their girls' and boys' teams having won USYSA National Championship titles. Bolts teams participate in various leagues and tournaments, including the New England Premiership (NEP), USCS Pre-Academy League, Region 1, and showcase tournaments nationwide. They also have affiliations with Bayside Bolts in Rhode Island and FC Londonderry Bolts in New Hampshire, and a partnership with Celtic FC in Scotland. The Bolts are recognized for their success in placing players in college programs and boast a network of alumni who have played at collegiate, national team, and professional levels.
