About the Club
Century United of Pittsburgh Football Club is a prominent youth soccer organization operating primarily in Western Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Established in 2002, the club has a long-standing commitment to player development and soccer excellence. Century United offers a comprehensive range of programs catering to various age groups, from the STARS program for ages 3-8 and Junior Academy for U8-U11, extending through competitive teams up to U19. The club distinguishes itself through its robust player development model, an Academy Futsal Program, and the United Performance Center. Century United also provides a dedicated College Pathway program, supporting athletes in their progression to higher levels of play. The club's success is evident in its alumni, with Landy Mertz becoming the second alum drafted into the NWSL, and Ryan Moessner earning the 2024 Trib HSSN Boys Soccer Player of the Year honors. Century United teams compete in top competitive leagues and programs, including the Girls Academy (GA) and National League P.R.O. (NL Pro). They also regularly participate in the PA West Presidents Cup.
