About the Club
Bethesda Soccer Club (BSC) is a youth soccer organization based in Montgomery County, Maryland, near Washington, D.C.. Established in 1979, BSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to develop and promote the growth and appreciation of soccer. They aim to provide a competitive, supportive, challenging, and fun environment for players to reach their full potential. BSC offers various programs for boys and girls from U-7 through U-19, including developmental programs, skills clinics, summer camps, and winter clinics. Their teams compete in various top-level leagues and events across the region and the United States, such as MLS Next, ECNL, Elite Development Program (EDP), and others. Bethesda Soccer Club has a history of success in developing players who go on to compete at collegiate and professional levels. Since 2000, 72 players have turned professional, with an average of three players per graduating class achieving this. Notable alumni include current and former U.S. National Team players. The club is also committed to community impact, offering a scholarship program to provide financial support to local youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play travel soccer. They also partner with organizations like DC SCORES to increase access to soccer in the DMV region.
