About the Club

AC Connecticut is a youth soccer organization based in Connecticut, providing a comprehensive player pathway for aspiring athletes. The club was initially founded as CFC Azul in 2011 and was rebranded as AC Connecticut on September 5, 2014. It offers opportunities ranging from local youth programs to highly competitive leagues, supporting player development at every stage. AC Connecticut serves various age groups, including youth players and college athletes who return to compete at a high level. A distinguishing feature of the club is its integration of a semi-pro team, making it one of the few clubs in Connecticut to offer such a long-term player growth opportunity. The club is recognized for providing an affordable and comprehensive player pathway within the state. AC Connecticut teams compete in prominent leagues and programs such as ECNL, ECRL, EDP, USL Academy, USYNAL, USL League Two, and USL Women's. The club also maintains a partnership with Hartford Athletic, a USL Championship side, to further develop a professional pathway for its players.
