About the Club

Toronto FC Academy is the youth academy and development system for the Canadian Major League Soccer club, Toronto FC. Founded in 2008, the academy aims to develop young players for professional soccer and provide academic pathways. It includes divisions from U14 to U19, with over 110 players, and competes in MLS Next. The senior academy team is known as Toronto FC III. The academy operates out of the BMO Training Ground, a state-of-the-art facility in Downsview Park with multiple pitches. Toronto FC Academy also includes the TFC Juniors program for players aged six to thirteen, focusing on grassroots development. They have regional partnerships with youth clubs in other Ontario cities. The academy has produced several players who have gone on to play for the Toronto FC senior team and the Canadian men's national team.
