The Town FC Academy
About the Club
The Town FC Academy is a youth soccer organization operating in the Bay Area, with a strong focus on the East Bay region of California. Launched in April 2025, the academy represents an innovative community collaboration model designed to expand access to elite soccer opportunities for aspiring athletes. It serves various age groups, including MLS NEXT age groups, and offers summer camps for children aged 5-12. Additionally, through a partnership with The Soccer Spot, programs are available for toddlers aged 3 and under. A key distinguishing feature of The Town FC Academy is its commitment to providing a clear pathway to the professional game. The academy emphasizes elite soccer development, inclusivity, and comprehensive coaching education. It operates with a collaborative model, uniting local clubs across the Bay Area to foster growth and success. Notably, Diablo Valley FC's MLS NEXT teams will merge under The Town FC Academy brand for the 2025/26 season, solidifying its competitive structure. The Town FC, the parent organization, is the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes, further establishing a direct route to professional soccer. The club also relaunched "The Town Futures Project" to prioritize grassroots development and expand soccer access for Oakland youth.
