About the Club

Founded in 1961, the San Francisco Glens Soccer Club is a prominent soccer club based in San Francisco. It is the largest and most diverse soccer club in the city, with over 90 teams and more than 1,100 youth and adult players. The club offers a comprehensive development pathway for players of all levels, from Pre-K micro soccer to adult teams. The SF Glens have a rich history, including winning two titles in the San Francisco Soccer Football League and reaching the finals of the National Amateur Cup twice. Their men's first team competes in USL League Two and their women's first team in the USL W League, both part of the fourth tier of American soccer. The club also boasts a nationally recognized academy program, which is the only one in San Francisco with MLS Next teams across all age groups from Under-13 to Under-19. The U19 team made history in 2022 by becoming the first San Francisco team to reach the MLS NEXT Cup final. As a community-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Glens are committed to providing access to soccer for everyone, regardless of financial situation, through fundraising and a scholarship program. The club is also developing a soccer-specific facility at Treasure Island.
