The club is recognized as San Antonio's premier U4-U19 soccer club, dedicated to progressive, developmental soccer. SA United SC distinguishes itself as the first soccer club in San Antonio to offer competitive soccer for both boys and girls in top-tier leagues. Their player pathway emphasizes developing skillful, intelligent players with confident personalities and positive characteristics, prioritizing long-term player development over short-term team wins. SA United SC offers various programs, including recreational, academy, and competitive levels. Their competitive teams participate in prominent leagues such as MLS NEXT, the Development Player League (DPL), and WDDOA.
