About the Club

LA Monsters FC is a non-profit, all-volunteer community soccer club operating in the LA Harbor Area of Southern California. The club is focused on providing youth in the community opportunities to play at the highest club level for significantly less cost than typical pay-to-play clubs, with a long-term goal of offering free soccer. They serve boys and girls and include a \"Super Minis Monsters Juniors\" program for children born between 2017 and 2020. A unique feature of the club is its mission to rehabilitate out-dated and abandoned soccer fields in underprivileged neighborhoods for its teams to use. LA Monsters FC provides a pathway for players to gain college and professional exposure. The club has a proven record of player development, with players being recruited by both the LA Galaxy and LAFC Youth Academies. One player was also selected to the B2009 US National Selection (ID2) squad. Their teams compete in high-level California leagues, including the Development Academy SOCAL, California Soccer League (CSL), and Southwest Premier League (SWPL).
