Forward Madison FC is a professional soccer club based in Madison, Wisconsin. The club was founded in 2018, with its professional team beginning play in USL League One in 2019. Forward Madison FC operates a comprehensive youth development system, including the Forward Madison FC Academy and U13-U19 Girls Youth Teams. The club serves a wide range of age groups through youth soccer camps and competitive teams for boys and girls. The Forward Madison FC Academy for boys joined MLS NEXT's new competition tier (Tier 2) in September 2025, providing a pathway to the highest levels of youth soccer. Girls' youth teams, from U13 to U19, compete in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) State League and US Youth Soccer (USYS) platforms. Forward Madison FC is committed to elevating youth soccer in the state by offering distinct developmental pathways and keeping playing costs low to ensure accessibility. The club fosters player development through training with its first team and maintains international partnerships with clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt and Amazonas. These initiatives aim to cultivate talent and provide a clear trajectory for young athletes to reach collegiate and professional levels.
