About the Club

Fluvanna Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) operates in Central Virginia, primarily serving Fluvanna County and surrounding rural areas. Established in 1999, FYSA has grown into a prominent non-profit organization with over 1,000 registered players annually. The club focuses on promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer through recreational, academy, and travel programs. FYSA serves boys and girls from ages 4 through 18, providing opportunities for skill development at all levels. Their recreational program emphasizes fun, teamwork, and basic skills in a supportive environment. The academy program bridges recreational and competitive play, building confidence and fitness. Travel soccer offers higher-level competition, with players trying out and being officially carded through the Virginia Youth Soccer Association. FYSA distinguishes itself by expanding access to underserved rural communities and fostering sportsmanship and fair play. The organization commits to player growth, with practices typically twice weekly and seasonal commitments that accommodate other activities.
