About the Club

Columbus Crew Academy is the youth development system for the MLS club Columbus Crew, competing in MLS NEXT. The Academy fields teams in the U15, U16, and U18 MLS NEXT age groups, as well as pre-formation teams for players U10-U14. The program aims to provide a professional pathway for young players, with a focus on player development and coaching education. The Crew Academy is committed to a player-first culture and aligns its playing style and training methodology with the First Team. They also have a Youth Partnerships Program with local and regional youth soccer organizations, including Academy Affiliates who receive technical and commercial benefits and have a stronger focus on the professional pathway. The Crew School program within the Academy emphasizes academic excellence, life skills, and technical/tactical training to prepare players for both on and off-field success.
