About the Club

AFC Lightning is a nationally recognized soccer club based in Peachtree City, GA, committed to developing intermediate and advanced soccer players. They aim to promote a high level of competitive youth soccer using professional, highly certified coaches, comprehensive training, and strong team spirit. The club offers programs for various age groups, including U6, U7, and U8, as well as MLS Next Tier 1 and 2, GA Aspire, SCCL, and Academy level soccer. AFC Lightning focuses on assisting players in achieving their soccer goals and dreams by fostering a competitive and challenging environment that emphasizes unity, transparent communication, financial stewardship, and ethical standards. They also provide opportunities for mentoring and the development of both soccer and life skills. The club has a legacy dating back to 1984, maintaining the history of players from their Lightning and Lazers clubs. AFC Lightning also offers camps and participates in tournaments.
