Soccer Chance Academy (SCA) is a year-round competitive youth soccer club located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. The club launched in 2018, providing a complete soccer education. SCA serves various age groups, including "Explore" (5-8 years), "Experiment" (9-12 years), "Express" (13-15 years), and "Execute" (16-18 years). A core philosophy of SCA is "The Individual is the Syllabus," placing the player at the center of a non-traditional development pathway. The club emphasizes a holistic approach, fostering technical, physical, psychological, and social growth in a supportive environment. SCA distinguishes itself with a unique games program that challenges conventional approaches to field size, single-gendered teams, and age groupings.
